When it comes to going out into 'safe' space you find youself mindnumb as you mine asterioids or doing jobs from agents aquiring faction. The only real fun in safe space (none-pvp) is the calculation of the money you make, or how much time is needed to aquire a skill, or calculating the over all bosnuses of your ship and skills to find what you can and can't do. Mining is what I would expect it to be and is what i spend a lot of time doing, the only problem i have with mining is the actual design they used in the asteroid belts. Asteroid belts ring around the star of a solar system, in this game they ring around the 'warp to point' in space... mind boggling... and I spend 90% of my in-game time mining AND thinking about this. My concussion is they have the arch down, but its so post to be a lot bigger, technically it would be more accurate just to make a straight line or a large blob of asteroids to mine in this game. (thus proves how much time I've spent mining) I'm still quite new at this game, where as i understand the game quite well, I have yet to much PvP. I have, however, discovered a few flaws in the PvP sytem. An example is there's a way for older players to pick on noobs in this game. If you are smart you will just ignore them and let them have the 20isk of what ever mineral they took, which won't get them diddly. On the other hand if you decide to bother them, your ship will have a very visually stunning explostion and you'll find youself sitting in a pod wondering how to afford a new ship without cheating (buying ISK). This is usually an issue for people 2 boxing or for a small fleet of noobs who have set out to mine there time away to make a few ISK. Over-All: Just like any other hi-end MMO i've played except it takes alot more time and devotion. If you play this game along side another MMO (there's a couple decent free ones out there to enjoy) you will have more fun at this game. Doesn't even come close to replacing the good'ol Westwood "Earth & Beyond"
