PERFORMANCE

GEAR
You MUST adorn everything

RAID SCHEDULE
Mondays and Wednesday starting at 6p.m. PST and ending at 9p.m. PST. Raids START at 6pm, which means you need to be available at 5:30p.m. PST for form up. Anyone not in the raid by 5:50p.m. is considered late and is subject to being replaced for the duration of that raid.

ATTENDANCE
100% raid attendance is required. We raid 2 nights a week but it is your choice to sign up for just one or for both days(these days are chosen when you sign up for The Legion, not on a raid by raid basis). The day you sign up for does not change unless I approve the change. If you miss 2 raids without notice you will be removed from The Legion. If you have to miss a raid you MUST post in the Absent/Late section of our forums. I understand that things come up and that people will miss raids, notification is required. Even with notification if you miss too many raids you will be bumped down to the backup pool.

BACKUP POOL
Backup raiders are required to be available on the days they have signed up for and able to get to the raid zone quickly. To this end backups should be camped either at the raid zone or at their guilds strategist and then play an alt until called upon. Backups won't make it into every raid and, depending on the class, may not get into raids frequently. Backups earn full DKP for waiting. Backups MUST report in to Lewna/Azraell during raid form up to be eligible for full DKP.

SPELLS/CAs
All must be of Expert level or higher

AA DISTRIBUTION
AA are to be set to maximize the effectiveness of the raid and the group you are assigned to, no exceptions. I strongly recommend getting an AA mirror to save your raid spec to. www.eq2flames.com is a site written by raiders and contains a wealth of great information about AA setups for all classes. Read this info with an open mind, some of what is suggested doesn't make sense until you see it in action.

ADORNMENTS
All Legion members must adorn everything.

ALTS
Alts are encouraged, its always good to have options to take advantage of. Each alt is bound by the same requirements as anyone else in legion.

CHAT CHANNEL
The Legion has a chat channel called LEGIONDPS. ALL Legion members must join this channel. Parses will be posted here and loot will be linked here for bidding. If you are not in this channel and miss out on loot it's your own fault.

LOOT
Fayte/Lewna will decide what classes may bid on each dropped item, in the event of my absence Azizz is in charge and will make those decisions. All items are bid on using a DKP system. All tradable items that drop and all manas/infusions will be bid on at the end of the raid, no trade items will be bid on immediately.

MIN BID: 5DKP
BID INCREMENTS: 1DKP

Masters - will always go to who needs them, in the event two people need them they will /ran 1000. If no oone needs they will go into the Legion Stockpile for future use

***Bidding will be done silently with a tell to Lewna/Azraell, all mage loot bids will be sent to Fezzgig. Each person gets one tell to send in their bid of what they think the item is worth, highest bidder wins.
All bidding will be done on items at the same time, when the item is linked mains, backups and alts will all bid at once. IE: Breastplate of Uber Badassedness drops and Lewna links it in chat. Mains and backups will send me a tell with their bid (backups will list "backup" in their bid) and anyone with a level 90 alt that can use the loot will roll /ran 1000. The highest main wins first, if no mains bid then the highest backup bid wins, if no backups bid then the highest random wins. If no one bids or rolls then the item gets muted.***

Alts must be level 90 to qualify for loot
Alt loot will be handled by random 1000 with the winner paying 10DKP

DKP SYSTEM
DKP is earned by attending raids and killing names. The DKP scale is as follows:

5DKP per EM zone and 10DKP per HM zone IF you are there before 6pm PST (awarded at raid start)
5DKP per EM zone and 10DKP per HM zone IF you stayed the entire raid (awarded at end of raid)
1DKP per boss killed in EM and 2DKP per boss killed in HM( awarded at time of kill)
5DKP bonus for all in attendance at the time of a first time kill (awarded at time of kill)

DKP PENALTIES
You do not earn the 5 points for the raid zone if you show up any later than 6pm PST

Forget to unequip your JW hammer: -10DKP (only if you actually port out during a fight)
Ninja AFK: -10DKP
Show up in TS gear: -10DKP
Show up in a non raid AA spec: -10DKP

VOICE CHAT
You must be able to at least listen to voice chat, being able to speak is optional. If you cannot speak you will need to create a lot of hot keys

LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE and INSTRUCTIONS
The Legion has a leadership structure and you will be getting instructions before and during fights from any one of these leaders. The instructions of a leader higher on the chain always supersede the instructions of leaders at lower levels.

The Legion Leader: Lewna/Azraell
Primary Raid Leader: Fezzgig/Azizz
Secondary Raid Leader: Lewna/Azraell

During named fights the primary raid leader (Fezzgig/Azizz) has control of the fight, instructions will come from him. Lewna/Azraell and others who may be assigned will assist Fezzgig as necessary. Group leaders are to ensure that their groups are where they need to be, are following instructions and are up and ready to go quickly after a wipe.

Think of The Legion as a separate guild. I lead it, Fezzgig/Azizz is my senior officer and the group leaders are my junior officers.

Instructions are ALWAYS to be followed to the letter, even if you disagree. Raiding is about the team, not the individual. ONLY a member of the leadership may change strategy mid fight. If something needs to change mid fight you will get the instructions from a member of the leadership. If you have suggestions on how things can be done differently, keep them to yourself until the fight is over and then discuss them in tells with the Raid Leader

PERFORMANCE
Performance is always being monitored and The Legion holds its member to a high standard. Always strive to improve your character, be open to advice and constructive criticism. We are only as strong as the sum of our parts and each of us, not only, needs to be on our A game but constantly improving what that A game is. People flagged as having a performance issue will be talked to and given ideas on ways to improve and then given a time limit in which to improve. If improvements are not made within that time limit the person in question will be benched(put in the backup pool) and someone in the backup pool will be given a chance to prove themselves.

SUPPLIES
Show up to the raid with enough of each type of FOCUSED cure potion, even healers. These potions can be obtained from your Legion bank.

LEGION BANK
Legends of Faydark maintains a Legion bank, this is a holding area for supplies and coin that can/will be used by current and future Legion members. If you need something from the Legion bank please see the appropriate person. Supplies in The Legion bank are free to Legion members. Coin in Legion banks should be used by our crafters to create potions for our raiding. Masters can be viewed by looking up LEWNA on the broker, anything listed for 9999plat is a Legion item and is free to Legion raiders if it is needed.

The rules and requirements above are not negotiable, if you choose to apply to this raid force you are agreeing to follow everything above exactly and consistently. Raiding the tough content requires discipline and dedication. Please keep in mind that there will be a lot of deaths and high repair bills. This is not something well suited for the impatient.
